When God answers our
prayers,
He is
increasing our faith.
(Matthew
21:21-22) Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not
doubt, you can do what was done to the fig tree and tell this mountain to move
and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for
in prayer.
(Matthew
14:28-32) Peter said, “Lord, tell me to come to you on the water.” Jesus said,
“come.” Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on water and came toward
Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and began to sink. He cried out,
“Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus caught his hand and said,“Why did you
doubt? You of little faith.” When
they climbed into the boat, the wind calmed down. All those who were in the
boat worshiped Him, saying, “We know that you are the Son of God.”
(Luke
22:31) “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you like wheat. But I have prayed
for you Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your
brothers.” Jesus said.
(Hebrews
5:7) During the days of Jesus life on earth, He offered prayers and petitions
with loud cries and tears to the Lord God Almighty who could save him from death.
God heard him because of his reverent submission.
