Jesus is coming!

Jesus is coming
Sunday, March 20, 2011
(Matthew 24:26-39) “So if anyone tells you, ‘there he is, out in the desert, do not go out; or, ‘here he is, in the inner rooms, do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Whenever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. Immediately after the distress of those days, ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ “
“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”
“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree. As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth; this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”
“No one knows about the day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and tool them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
(Matthew 25:31-33) “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separated the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
(Revelation 1:17-18) When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last. I am the living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.”

Heavenly bodies will be shaken

Heavenly bodies will be shaken
Sunday, March 13, 2011

(Luke 21:25-28) There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth , nations will be in anguish at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At the time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
(Mark 13:24-27) “But in those days following that distress,”
‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
“At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with power and great glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.
(Mark 13:17-20) “How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that this will not take place in winter, because those will be the days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now– and never to equaled again.
(Matthew 24:12-14) “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
(Matthew 24:22) “if those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.”
(Zephaniah 1:2-3) “I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord. “I will sweep away both men and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea. The wicked will have only heaps of rubble when I cut off man from the face of the earth.”
(Daniel 12:2-3) Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
(Isaiah 24:4-6) The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the exalted of the earth languish. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.

Earthquakes, tsunami, wars and rumors of wars

Earthquakes, tsunami, wars and rumors of wars
Friday, March 11, 2011
(Matthew 24:4-8) Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.
(Luke 21:10-11) Then he said to them: Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
(Luke 21:25) There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
(Luke 21:34-36) “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness, and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

Greatest pound for pound king

Jesus is the greatest pound for pound king forever
(Luke 9:58) Jesus said, “Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the son of man have no place to lay his head.”
(Luke 4:4-8) Jesus said, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone.’
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and said to him, “I will give you all their authority and brilliance, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. Worship me and it will all be yours.”
Jesus said, “It is written: ‘Worship and serve the Lord your God only.’
(Mark 3:4) Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” but they remained silent.
(Matthew 12:17-21) This was to fulfill what was spoken to the prophet Isaiah:
Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.”
(Matthew 21:12-13) Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “’My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a ‘den of robbers.’”
(Luke 6:27) “But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.”
